Our Story

PerformRX was conceptualized from the sideline. The founder and owner, Shauna Ericksen, has been working on the sideline of sporting events for over 10 years. She recognized a gap in athlete care from the onset of on-field injuries. While evaluating and treating injuries at sporting events she realized there was no easy access for follow-up care and proper injury management for safe return to participation. Additionally, after numerous conversations with players and parents, many sporting organizations did not provide proper strategies for injury prevention. Through this she decided she wanted to offer the full breadth of her knowledge and skills as an Athletic Trainer and Sports Medicine Professional.

PerformRX takes athlete safety and advocacy to the next level. We understand the culture of sports has come a long way in regards to physical and mental health. But we are taking it to the future with our athlete centered, human focused approach. We are committed to the health and safety of ALL athletes.
